Booming Francisville is situated between Fairmount & Girard Avenues, Broad Street to the east, and Corinthian Avenue to the west.      An offshoot of the Fairmount area, this section of North Philadelphia was recently neglected and has recently sprung back to life.

William Penn had set Francisville aside three centuries ago for this vineyards, and after over 50 years of economic decline and neglect, it has bounced back.    New residents are attracted to the proximity to Center City without the hefty price tag. A quick ride on the Broad Street Line and you can be most anywhere you need to be.

A natural development has occurred in the form of a ripple effect from Center City outward to surrounding neighborhoods, including Francisville.    As young professionals are priced out of central areas, those like Francisville provide the perfect mix of convenience and affordability.

Although rowhomes certainly exist, many have been drawn to newly constructed small-scale condos projects with 10-year tax abatements.
