Roxborough is a neighborhood in the Northwest section of Philadelphia. It is bordered to the southwest, along the Schuylkill River, by the neighborhood of Manayunk, along the northeast by the Wissahickon Creek section of Fairmount Park, and to the southeast by the neighborhood of East Falls.
One SEPTA Regional Rail line connects the neighborhood to Center City: the Manayunk/Norristown Line stops at the Ivy Ridge station, Manayunk station, and Wissahickon station. The neighborhood is also served by SEPTA bus routes 1, 9, 27, 32, 35, and 65.
Some staple locations to visit are Dalessandro’s Steaks, arguably one of the best cheesesteak shops in Philly, and the Valley Green Inn, the last remaining roadhouse in the city. www.visitphilly.com/things-to-do/food-drink/valley-green-inn/
