Cozy Up to Autumn with Delicious Pumpkin Spice Muffins

As the leaves turn brilliant shades of red and gold and the air turns crisp and cool, there’s no better time to celebrate the flavors of fall. One of the quintessential tastes of the season is the beloved pumpkin spice. And what better way to embrace this cozy flavor than with a batch of homemade Pumpkin Spice Muffins? In this blog post, we’ll share a delightful fall recipe that will have your taste buds dancing with delight and your home filled with the comforting aroma of autumn.

      For the Muffins:

      1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour

      1 ½ teaspoons baking powder

      1 teaspoon baking soda

      ½ teaspoon salt

      1 ½ teaspoons ground cinnamon

      ½ teaspoon ground nutmeg

      ½ teaspoon ground cloves

      ¼ teaspoon ground ginger

      1 cup canned pumpkin puree

      ½ cup granulated sugar

      ½ cup brown sugar (packed)

      2 large eggs

      ½ cup vegetable oil

      1 teaspoon vanilla extract

      For the Streusel Topping:

      ¼ cup all-purpose flour

      ¼ cup granulated sugar

      ¼ cup rolled oats

¼ cup unsalted butter (cold and cubed)

      ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon

      1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a muffin tin with paper liners or grease it lightly.
      2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and ginger.
      3. In a separate bowl, combine the pumpkin puree, granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.
      4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Be careful not to overmix; a few lumps are okay.
      5. In a small bowl, prepare the streusel topping. Combine the flour, granulated sugar, rolled oats, cubed butter, and ground cinnamon. Use a fork or your fingers to crumble the mixture until it resembles coarse crumbs.
      6. Spoon the muffin batter into the prepared muffin tin, filling each cup about two-thirds full.
      7. Sprinkle the streusel topping evenly over each muffin.
      8. Bake in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a muffin comes out clean.
      9. Allow the muffins to cool in the tin for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
      10. Serve your Pumpkin Spice Muffins warm with a steaming cup of coffee or a glass of cold milk, and savor the taste of fall!

There’s something undeniably comforting about the warm spices and rich flavors of autumn, and these Pumpkin Spice Muffins capture that essence perfectly. Whether you’re hosting a fall brunch, treating your family to a weekend breakfast, or just craving a cozy snack, these muffins are the ideal choice.

So, embrace the season and the delicious tastes it brings with this delightful recipe. As you bake these muffins, you’ll not only fill your home with the scents of cinnamon and nutmeg but also create cherished memories with loved ones. Enjoy this wonderful taste of fall!
