      Five Great Philly Breakfast Spots

As a lifelong Philadelphian, I know this city like the back of my hand, especially when it comes to breakfast spots. Whether you’re a local or just visiting, there are plenty of delicious breakfast spots in Philly to start your day off right. Here are a few of my favorite breakfast spots, along with some must-try menu items:

      Green Eggs Cafe
Green Eggs Cafe has several locations throughout the city, and they’re all worth checking out. My favorite is the South Philly location, which has a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. I highly recommend the carrot cake French toast with toasted pecans and candied carrots.

      Cafe La Maude
Cafe La Maude is a French and Lebanese-inspired cafe located in Northern Liberties. The decor is eclectic and the food is delicious. My go-to dish is the shakshuka, which is a flavorful dish of eggs poached in a spicy tomato sauce and served with bread for dipping.

      Sabrina’s Cafe
Sabrina’s Cafe has several locations throughout Philly, but the South Street location is my favorite. This cozy cafe is known for its oversized portions and comfort food. Don’t miss the stuffed challah French toast, which is filled with sweet cream cheese and topped with strawberries and whipped cream.

      Honey’s Sit ‘n Eat
Honey’s Sit ‘n Eat is a Jewish-inspired diner located in Northern Liberties. The menu is full of classic breakfast dishes with a twist. One of my favorites is the Nashville hot chicken sandwich, which is served on a tasty brioche bun with fries on the side.

      Cafe Lift
Cafe Lift is a popular brunch spot located in Callowhill. The menu is full of creative dishes with a European flair. You can’t go wrong with the lemon ricotta pancakes, which are topped with honey and fresh whipped cream.
